Basics of Blackjack Game Rules

The aim of any blackjack player according to the Blackjack Game Rules is to end with a larger hand than the dealer’s hand total without exceeding 21. In all the Blackjack Game Rules types, the card values are the same: all the 2-10 cards are valued as numbered, all the face cards (Jacks, Queens, Kings) have the value of 10, and the Ace can be counted as either 1 or 11 depending on what makes the player hand less likely to win. Any hand that exceeds the value of 21 is called to Bust. In Blackjack, the gambler’s hand is only against the dealer’s hand, which means other player hands are unimportant.

Dealing cards

As soon as all the gamblers have put their wagers, the croupier starts dealing cards. A gamer receives two cards up and the croupier deals 2 cards, first up and another facing down. When all the gamers have received their cards, the dealer moves from one player to the next so that each gambler can make his choice on how does he want to play his/her hand.

The most common solutions in Blackjack Game Rules are:

Surrender option permits the player to forfeit his hand and receive back 1/2 of the primarily bet.

Hit means asking to be dealt one more card.

Stand option is asking to be dealt no more cards.

Doubling Down is doubling your wager and asking to be dealt just a single card.

Split option is asking for splitting player’s hand into 2 different hands and multiplying on 2 the wager. This solution is allowed only when the original 2 cards dealt were of the same value.

Insurance option is an option provided to the gamers if the dealer face up card is an Ace. The insurance wager pays off 2 to 1 and commonly is valued as 0.5 of the original wager. If the dealer has a Blackjack (Natural), the gamer loses the first bet, but gets the insurance bet as well as the pay out back.

After all the gamblers have made a choice of the option, the croupier gambles the hand. The dealer turns up the facing down card (also known as the hole ) and chooses whether to ask for another card or stand. The dealer chooses the options only conforming to the casinoBlackjack Game Rules, it is banned that he decides on his own. All the dealers must ask for more cards till the count of the hand is higher or exactly 17. Sometimes the Blackjack Game Rules vary depending on whether the hand is soft or hard 17 (with or without an Ace), nevertheless, the initial rule covers all the 17s.

Natural

The total 21 in the first two cards (a ten-valued card and the Ace) is called a Blackjack, also a Natural. This hand is the best combination and it pays off 3 to 2 unless the dealer hand combination is also a Natural, that way two hands Tie (the wagers are returned in the full amount). It is worth mentioning that once your first 2 cards are two Aces and you have decided to split, and 1 of the following cards was ten-valued one, such hand is not viewed as a Natural, but simply a hand with a total of 21.
